LADYHAYE'S GUIDE TO EXPORTING YOUR PET TO THE USA AND CANADA
North America/ Canada:
Dogs and cats are not subject to any quarantine on arrival.
1. It is recommended; particularly if your pet is travelling to Canada and certain destinations in the USA, that they receive a rabies vaccination at least 30 days in advance.
2. All airlines insist on a General Export Health certificate be issued within 3 days of travel, confirming your pet is fit, healthy, and free from any contagious diseases.
Please be aware dogs such as German Shepherds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks etc. May not be able to board internal flights because of the hold size.
